Born Oct. 14, 1958 in Kingston, Pennsylvania. I have been a lifelong resident of Luzerne County, presently residing in Kingston Twp. with wife Peggy and stepson Lucas.

 

Education:

Attended Schuyler Ave. Elementary school Kingston, Pa., graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School, Kingston Pa. 1976. Attended two semesters King's College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. 1987-1988, majoring in Finance. Attended Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke, Pa. 1991-1994 graduating in the nursing program.

 

Employment:

Started at age 13 working maintenance and landscaping after school and summers. Worked as a warehouseman and truck driver from 1976-1992. Teamsters Union member from 1979-1980.Worked as a counselor at St. Michael's School for Boys, Tunkhannock, Pa. 1990-1994. Presently working as a Registerd Nurse for HCR ManorCare in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

 

Military:

Joined Army Reserves 1985. Veteran of Operation Desert Storm 1990-1991. Assisted in humanitarian mission Operation New Horizons post hurricane Mitch, El Salvador 1999. 2 tour veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Awarded bronze star in support of combat operations in and around Mosul, Iraq around the time period of The Battle of Mosul during November 2004. Duties included company operations NCO, detachment NCOIC 814th QM Co. Mosul Airfield, & convoy commander. Other career awards include Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (5),Humanitarian Aide Medal. National Defense Ribbon (2). Retired November 2008. Current member of American Legion Post 672 Dallas, and Anthracite VFW Post 283 Kingston.

 

Hobbies

Traveling: I have been to over 40 U.S. states and 25 countries. I have a wanderlust that may never be satisfied.

Fitness: I enjoy keeping fit doing weight training and cardio on a near daily basis. Past awards were received for baseball, boxing and table tennis.

Fishing: I enjoy fishing locally, in Canada, and deep sea.

Motorcycling: I like to ride my 1985 Harley Davidson Sportster when I can.

Trading and Investing: Fair to good results over the years. My latest advice is to front run the government printing presses and buy gold.
